Adeline Estate Shiraz 2022

Adeline Estate Shiraz 2022 is a striking Clare Valley Shiraz from over 100-year-old vines, grown in one of the region’s most privileged sites between the Aberfeldy vineyard and Wendouree. Produced with organic principles and tiny yields, it delivers remarkable power, depth, and mineral precision while keeping its balance beautifully intact.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Shiraz shows a deep, dark hue that hints at its concentration and intensity. The nose is wonderfully expressive, layered with blueberry, blackcurrant, wild herbs, liquorice, pepper, and baking spices. The palate is both silky and forceful, unfolding with blue and dark fruit, violet notes, pepper, and a clear mineral edge that gives the wine lift and freshness. Despite its generous structure, it remains poised and refined, with excellent length and the kind of concentration that should reward cellaring over the next decade or more.

Viininvalmistus
Sourced from old-vine Shiraz planted in a highly regarded Clare Valley location, the fruit benefits from ideal growing conditions that combine richness with natural tension. The vineyards are farmed according to organic practices, and yields are kept extremely low to preserve concentration and character. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, fermented in concrete, and then matured for 10 months in large oak casks, of which 22% are new.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a natural partner for grilled meats, especially a well-marbled steak from the butcher, lamb chops, or slow-cooked beef dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours to let the wine खुल fully and show its aromatics and texture at their best.
