Arnot-Roberts Rosé of Touriga Nacional 2023 is a distinctive California rosé built around a Portuguese grape rarely seen in the region. Since 2010, Arnot-Roberts has used this uncommon variety to craft a wine that feels both precise and adventurous, with a style that stands apart from more conventional rosés.

Makuprofiili
The wine shows a delicate pale salmon hue and comes in at a modest 11.5% alcohol, adding to its refreshing, easygoing profile. On the nose, it opens with white pear, honeydew melon, blood orange, pink rose petals, and a subtle thread of spice. The palate is fresh yet impressively textured, echoing the aromas while adding wild cherry, a light salty edge, and more spice-driven nuance. It feels lively and layered rather than simple, with enough structure to suggest it will hold well over the near term, though it is clearly meant to be enjoyed for its youthful energy and vibrancy.

Viininvalmistus
The Touriga Nacional comes from small plantings at Luschinger Vineyard and St. Amant Vineyard in California, where Arnot-Roberts source this uncommon grape with a keen eye for character and originality. The clusters are gently crushed and left briefly in contact with the skins to extract color before pressing, then the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, purity, and the grape’s aromatic detail.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This rosé is a natural match for grilled prawns, seared tuna, summer salads, charcuterie, and Mediterranean dishes with herbs, citrus, or a touch of spice. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and there is no need to decant.
