Bollinger Grande Année 1999 Jeroboam is a prestigious vintage Champagne created from the house’s finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, selected from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. Produced in limited quantities and aged in a large-format jeroboam, it offers the depth, finesse, and slow evolution that collectors prize, while reflecting Bollinger’s long-standing reputation for rich, expressive Champagne.

In the glass, this Champagne shows a bright golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with ripe orchard fruit such as apple and pear, layered with honey, toasted nuts, and gentle spice, giving it both generosity and complexity. The palate is full-bodied and structured, balancing freshness with a creamy, developed texture. The long lees aging adds depth and nuance, leading to an elegant, lingering finish. Thanks to the magnum-equivalent jeroboam format, it has strong aging potential and may continue to develop beautifully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Bollinger Grande Année 1999 is sourced from selected Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in Champagne, where the region’s chalky soils and cool climate help preserve freshness while building concentration. The 1999 growing season was favorable, allowing the grapes to reach excellent ripeness and balance. Following harvest, the wine underwent extended aging on the lees, a hallmark of Bollinger’s style, and was bottled in jeroboam format to encourage slow, graceful maturation.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Ideal with refined dishes such as roast poultry, lobster, scallops, truffle risotto, or aged hard cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is not usually necessary for Champagne, but if the bottle is showing significant age, a brief aeration can help the aromas open up.
