Borgo Maragliano Alta Langa Brut Rosé Giovanni Galliano 2021 is a refined sparkling wine from Piedmont that showcases the elegance of Pinot Noir in the classic Alta Langa style. Made in one of Italy’s most respected sparkling wine regions, it offers a balance of finesse, freshness, and depth that makes it stand out among premium rosé bubbles.

Makuprofiili
This Brut Rosé typically shows a delicate pink hue with lively, persistent bubbles. On the nose, expect fresh red berries, wild strawberry, citrus peel, and subtle floral notes, often joined by a light brioche or almond nuance from time on lees. The palate is crisp and dry, with bright acidity, fine structure, and a clean mineral finish that adds precision and length. The Pinot Noir base gives the wine both elegance and a touch of complexity, making it enjoyable now while also having the potential to develop additional roundness and nuance over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
Alta Langa DOCG is one of Piedmont’s highest and coolest sparkling wine zones, where altitude and limestone-rich soils help preserve acidity and aromatic freshness. Grapes are typically harvested by hand to protect quality and ensure careful selection, and the wine is then produced using the traditional method, with secondary fermentation in bottle and aging on the lees to build texture, complexity, and fine bubbles.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This rosé sparkling wine works beautifully with oysters, smoked salmon, tuna tartare, sushi, shellfish, light pasta dishes, and soft cheeses, but it is equally enjoyable as an aperitif. Serve well chilled at around 6–8°C. Decanting is not recommended; simply open and pour gently to preserve the mousse.
