Casata Monfort Trento Cuvée '85 Brut is a refined expression of Trentino sparkling wine, crafted with the precision of the classic method and the freshness that has made the region famous. Born from Cantine Monfort’s sparkling wine tradition, which began in 1985 through Lorenzo Simoni’s forward-thinking vision, it brings together the vibrant character of Chardonnay with the finesse and elegance traditionally associated with Pinot Nero.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Brut typically shows a pale straw-yellow color with lively, persistent bubbles that speak to its classic-method style. The nose is clean and inviting, with notes of green apple, citrus zest, white flowers, and a subtle hint of brioche or pastry from time on the lees. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and energetic, offering bright orchard fruit, lemon peel, and a delicate mineral edge balanced by a creamy mousse. The finish is refreshing and elegant, with enough structure to develop nicely over the short to medium term, though it is best enjoyed while its youthful vitality is at its peak.

Viininvalmistus
Trento lies in the heart of the mountainous Trentino-Alto Adige region, where cool nights, sunny days, and well-drained hillside vineyards create ideal conditions for sparkling wine production. The grapes are harvested carefully by hand to preserve freshness and integrity, then vinified using the traditional method, with the secondary fermentation taking place in bottle to build complexity, texture, and fine bubbles.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine is a natural match for seafood, shellfish, sushi, light white-meat dishes, and delicate starters such as carpaccio or tempura vegetables. It also works beautifully as an aperitif. Serve well chilled at 6–8°C, and decanting is not recommended; simply open and enjoy to capture its freshness and sparkle at their best.
