Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée No. 747 Extra Brut is a precise and expressive Champagne that perfectly reflects the house’s uncompromising philosophy. Built around the 2019 harvest and enriched with reserve wines, it showcases a refined blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, with the numbered cuvée system serving as Jacquesson’s signature style. The result is a Champagne with both tension and depth, shaped by a strong sense of place and the house’s long-standing pursuit of purity.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Cuvée No. 747 opens with a bright, finely etched profile and a beautifully mineral edge. The nose is lifted and fresh, with aromas of citrus, white flowers, and orchard fruit unfolding into more layered notes of stone fruit, hazelnut, and a subtle brioche character. The palate is focused, dry, and mouthwatering, with concentrated fruit framed by chalky minerality and a distinctly saline finish. Its Extra Brut dosage keeps the style taut and transparent, while the wine’s structure suggests it can be enjoyed now or left to develop added complexity over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
Jacquesson sources fruit from carefully selected parcels in Vallée de la Marne, Grande Vallée, and Côte des Blancs, with all grapes coming from Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. The vineyards are cultivated with minimal intervention and harvested at low yields to preserve concentration and clarity. The wine is fermented in oak barrels, undergoes malolactic fermentation, and is aged for more than three years before disgorgement, with a very low dosage of around 1.5 g/l to preserve the house’s dry, precise style.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne is an excellent match for oysters, sashimi, shellfish, poached white fish, or refined poultry dishes, and it also pairs well with aged hard cheeses and light dishes featuring nuts or citrus. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short rest in the glass can help reveal its layered aromas.
