Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal 2008 is an exceptional vintage release from one of Champagne’s most celebrated houses. Crafted only in the finest years, it brings together power, precision, and elegance in a cuvée that has become a benchmark for prestige Champagne.

Makuprofiili
Cristal 2008 shows a brilliant, luminous golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is layered and expressive, opening with citrus, green apple, and white flowers, before revealing subtle notes of toasted nuts and chalky minerality. On the palate, it is remarkably structured yet refined, with vibrant freshness, a creamy texture, and superb balance between the Pinot Noir’s depth and the Chardonnay’s finesse. The finish is long, silky, and elegantly spiced. While already impressive now, this vintage has outstanding aging potential and is expected to gain even greater complexity over time.

Viininvalmistus
Cristal 2008 is composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, sourced from selected Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne, particularly in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. The chalk-rich soils contribute to its pronounced mineral character and remarkable purity. The wine is vinified with great care and aged for 7 years on the lees in Louis Roederer’s cellars, followed by an additional 6 months in bottle after disgorgement to achieve perfect harmony.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Ideal with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, caviar, sashimi, or delicate poultry and truffle-based preparations. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is generally not necessary, but allowing the wine a short time in the glass can help reveal its full aromatic complexity.
