Deep, inky ruby in the glass, Château Latour 2000 immediately signals seriousness and depth. The nose is layered and refined, with intense blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and subtle mineral nuances, all framed by finely integrated oak and a quiet but unmistakable sense of power. On the palate, the wine is dense and structured yet beautifully composed, showing ripe black fruits, sweet tannins, and exceptional balance. The finish is long and persistent, carrying remarkable freshness and precision. While already impressive, this is a wine that will continue to develop over decades, gaining further complexity and elegance with age.

Viininvalmistus
Château Latour is located in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, where the estate’s deep gravel and clay soils, topped with large heat-retaining stones, create ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The grapes are harvested with great care, and the wine is vinified to emphasize concentration, purity, and structure, with strict selection for the grand vin.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Best enjoyed with refined, richly flavored dishes such as beef tenderloin, roasted lamb, venison, or truffle-infused cuisine. Serving temperature should be around 16–18°C, and decanting is highly recommended, especially for younger bottles or larger formats, to allow the wine to open fully and reveal its layers of aroma and texture.
