Château Rieussec Sauternes 2014 is a superb example of one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated sweet wines, offering the richness and elegance that have made Rieussec a benchmark in Sauternes. In the glass, it shows a deep, radiant golden colour that signals both concentration and maturity. The nose is opulent and layered, unfolding with honey, toasted almonds, and ripe pineapple, followed by richer tones of tropical fruit and a refined sweetness. On the palate, the wine opens with mango, papaya, and fresh mandarin, supported by a creamy, silky texture that gives it exceptional presence. Despite its richness, it retains a lively freshness that keeps the wine elegant and lifted rather than heavy. The finish is long and persistent, leaving warm impressions of honeyed, sun-ripened fruit. Château Rieussec 2014 has excellent aging potential and can continue to develop complexity for many years.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a beautiful match for delicate fruit desserts, tarte Tatin, crème brûlée, blue cheese, or foie gras, where its sweetness and acidity create a luxurious balance. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and consider a short decant only if the wine seems particularly closed; otherwise, it is best enjoyed straight from the bottle to preserve its freshness and aromatic detail.
