Dom Pérignon 2008 is a standout vintage Champagne from Moët & Chandon’s iconic prestige cuvée, offering a rare combination of freshness, depth, and precision. The cool growing season followed by a bright, sunny finish in 2008 gave the wines remarkable balance and aromatic intensity, making this one of the house’s most celebrated recent vintages.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a refined, luminous pale gold color with a persistent, fine mousse. The nose is elegant and layered, opening with citrus, green apple, and white flowers before unfolding into almond, brioche, and subtle mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is precise and vibrant, with crisp acidity, a creamy texture, and impressive concentration. The finish is long, saline, and mineral-driven, with the structure and balance to enjoy now or cellar for another 15–20 years as it continues to gain complexity.

Viininvalmistus
Dom Pérignon 2008 is crafted from a near-even blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, selected to express both the freshness and tension of the vintage as well as its underlying structure. The grapes come from Champagne terroirs that benefited from the cool season and excellent late ripening, resulting in fruit with high natural acidity and strong aromatic clarity. The wine spent at least 9 years aging on the lees in bottle, which helped build depth, texture, and its signature complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This vintage Champagne pairs beautifully with oysters, lobster, scallops, and delicate poultry dishes, where its brightness and creamy mousse complement refined flavors without overpowering them. Serve chilled at 8–10°C, and while decanting is generally not necessary, a short rest in the glass can help reveal its full aromatic profile.
