Dom Pérignon Oenothèque Rosé 1990 is an exceptionally rare prestige Champagne, released from one of the house’s most sought-after collections. It stands out for its remarkable depth, texture, and maturity, offering the kind of layered complexity that only a great vintage and extended cellar aging can deliver. Born from the legendary vineyards of Champagne and crafted under the Dom Pérignon name, it reflects both the precision of the house and the singular character of 1990.

In the glass, this Rosé shows the refined, evolved color you would expect from a mature prestige cuvée, with a warm, nuanced tone that hints at its long aging. The bouquet is beautifully complex and generous, unfolding with notes of papaya, candied orange, curry leaves, sweet spice, and subtle marine and toasted nuances. On the palate, it is full, supple, and deeply textural, with a bold yet balanced presence that feels both sensual and composed. The wine has a fleshy, tactile mouthfeel, broad layers of flavor, and a long, resonant finish. Thanks to its structure and extended maturation, it remains capable of further aging, though it is already in a very expressive and rewarding phase now.

Viininvalmistus
Sourced from Champagne’s finest terroirs, this cuvée is built primarily on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the classic foundation of Dom Pérignon Rosé. As with all Dom Pérignon wines, production is centered on selecting grapes from exceptional parcels and vinifying them with great precision to preserve purity, balance, and age-worthiness. The Oenothèque release reflects extended cellar maturation, allowing the wine to develop its rich secondary and tertiary aromas while maintaining the house’s signature finesse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a Champagne for equally refined dishes, such as lobster, langoustine, seared scallops, duck with a light spice accent, or even richly flavored poultry and dishes with Asian-inspired seasoning. It is best served chilled at around 10–12°C to allow the complexity to open fully. Decanting is not usually necessary, but giving the wine a little time in the glass can help reveal its deeper aromatic layers.
