Dom Pérignon P2 2004 is an exceptional vintage champagne that showcases the house’s signature pursuit of precision, depth, and elegance. “Plénitude 2” marks a later stage in the wine’s evolution on the lees, unlocking greater complexity, texture, and aromatic intensity while preserving the freshness that defines the 2004 vintage.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this champagne shows a refined, luminous character with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with citrus, green apple, and white flowers, gradually unfolding into toast, vanilla, honey, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is rich yet vibrant, combining crisp acidity with a creamy, layered texture and a distinct mineral backbone. The finish is long, composed, and deeply expressive, with the 12 years of bottle aging adding extra nuance and complexity. It has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop gracefully over time.

Dom Pérignon P2 2004 is crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Champagne, a region defined by cool climate conditions and chalk-rich soils that help preserve freshness and finesse. The 2004 growing season was notably stable, allowing the grapes to ripen with both balance and structure, and the wine was then matured extensively on lees for 12 years before release, contributing to its depth, precision, and layered complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve Dom Pérignon P2 2004 at 10–12°C to best appreciate its aromatic range and elegant texture. It pairs beautifully with shellfish, foie gras, and grilled poultry, and while decanting is generally not necessary, a brief rest in the glass can help open up its more subtle layers.
