Domaine Dominique Lahaye Chassagne-Montrachet Les Benoîtes Blanc 2022 is a finely crafted micro-production from one of Burgundy’s most sought-after villages. Sourced from just 0.2 hectares and made from Chardonnay, this wine reflects both the precision of a small-scale domaine and the elegance that has long defined Chassagne-Montrachet.

Makuprofiili
The wine shows a bright, refined expression with a lively and polished character. On the nose, it offers citrus peel, floral notes, mandarin, and subtle oak influence, adding depth without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silky texture and fresh acidity that keeps the wine energetic and well-balanced. Fruit and minerality are beautifully intertwined, leading to a long, vibrant finish. With its structure and balance, it should also develop gracefully over the next several years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from a sustainably farmed 0.2-hectare parcel in Chassagne-Montrachet and are harvested by hand to preserve quality and precision. Fermentation takes place in large casks, followed by 10 months of aging in smaller barrels, around 25% of which are new. The domaine follows environmentally conscious practices and is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale, ensuring a respectful approach to the vineyard and its surrounding terroir.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with fine seafood, roast chicken, creamy pasta, veal, and dishes with mushrooms or gentle butter sauces. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, though a short airing in the glass can help the wine open up if served young.
