Sourced from nearly 3.5 hectares of monopole vineyard and crafted with a focus on purity and terroir expression, it reflects the classic depth and refinement that make Meursault one of Burgundy’s most admired appellations.

In the glass, the wine shows a brilliant golden hue that hints at its richness. The nose is layered with ripe apple, pear, and delicate citrus notes, all carried by a subtle mineral edge that adds freshness and precision. The palate is generous and creamy, with well-integrated acidity giving the wine balance and lift. Its chalky, limestone-driven minerality runs through the finish, adding definition and length. While delicious now, it should also hold well over the coming years as its complexity continues to evolve.

The Clos des Meix Chavaux monopole sits in the heart of Meursault, where the limestone-rich soils lend the wine its characteristic mineral tension and elegance. The grapes are harvested by hand, and fermentation takes place in neutral barrels, followed by maturation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and highlight the vineyard’s natural expression rather than oak influence.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Meursault pairs beautifully with fish dishes such as turbot, cod, or seared scallops, as well as roast chicken, creamy poultry preparations, and fine shellfish. Serve it chilled, ideally around 10-12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short airing may help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
