Domaine G. Roumier Bonnes-Mares 2015 is a striking expression of Grand Cru Burgundy, combining power, finesse, and remarkable depth. Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep, luminous ruby core that hints at its concentration. The nose opens with dark cherries, ripe blackberries, violets, and a subtle layer of spicy oak, all lifted by an underlying mineral freshness. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet impeccably silk-textured, with ripe tannins that frame the fruit without overpowering it. The finish is long, precise, and mineral-driven, balancing richness with elegance. While already impressive, this 2015 Bonnes-Mares has the structure and depth to age beautifully for many years, gaining complexity with cellaring.

Viininvalmistus
Roumier’s Bonnes-Mares comes from parcels positioned on the edge between Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, where the soils combine light limestone and iron-rich clay. The grapes were hand-harvested in ideal 2015 conditions, a warm and generous vintage that brought excellent ripeness and natural balance. Vinification followed a traditional approach with partial destemming, slow fermentation, and 16–18 months of ageing in oak barrels, with only a modest proportion of new oak used to preserve purity and terroir expression.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as duck breast, roasted quail, venison, wild mushroom risotto, or lamb with herbs. Serve it at around 16–18°C to bring out its aromatic complexity and texture. Decanting for about 1–2 hours is recommended if drinking young, especially to allow the wine’s perfume and structure to fully open.
