Domaine Leflaive Pouilly-Fuissé 2018 Magnum is a compelling expression of Chardonnay from one of the most respected names in Burgundy. Pouilly-Fuissé is already known for its generous, fruit-forward style, but under Leflaive’s hands it gains real precision, depth, and terroir-driven character, showing just how serious this Mâconnais appellation can be.

The wine shows a bright, polished appearance and opens with an expressive nose of yellow apple, peach, citrus zest, and a delicate touch of acacia honey. A subtle spice from oak adds another layer without overshadowing the fruit, giving the bouquet a refined, inviting complexity. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with juicy acidity carrying flavors of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and toasted nuts. The texture is smooth and rounded, yet a distinct mineral edge keeps the wine focused and well-defined. The finish is clean, long, and gently saline, with enough structure to suggest good short- to medium-term aging potential.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pouilly-Fuissé is an excellent match for grilled shellfish, roast chicken, creamy goat cheese, or other dishes where richness needs a fresh, mineral counterpoint. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is not necessary unless you want to give the wine a little extra air in its youth.
