Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2010 is a benchmark white Burgundy, drawn from one of the Côte de Beaune’s most celebrated grand cru sites. Sitting between Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Le Montrachet, it combines power, depth, and remarkable precision, all shaped by Leflaive’s biodynamic approach and long-standing mastery of Chardonnay.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a brilliant golden hue that hints at its richness and complexity. The bouquet is layered and expressive, with aromas of citrus zest, baked apple, toasted nuts, honey, and a clear mineral edge that gives definition and lift. On the palate, it is concentrated and textural, with a creamy mid-palate balanced by fresh acidity and a long, polished finish. Notes of butter, vanilla, and wet stone add nuance and length, while the wine’s structure suggests outstanding aging potential, developing beautifully over many years.

Viininvalmistus
This Grand Cru comes from one of Burgundy’s most prestigious Chardonnay terroirs, where the limestone-rich soils and prime exposure help produce wines of both intensity and finesse. Domaine Leflaive farms according to biodynamic principles, with natural fermentation and careful oak maturation in French barrels, including a measured proportion of new oak to build complexity without masking the wine’s purity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
An excellent match for refined dishes such as lobster, foie gras, truffle-based preparations, and mature cheeses. Serve at around 12°C, and consider decanting briefly if the wine is still very youthful to help it open and reveal its full aromatic range.
