Guido Porro Barolo Lazzeirasco 2020 is a classic, terroir-driven Barolo from the celebrated Serralunga d’Alba area in Piemonte. Sourced from the respected Lazzeirasco vineyard, it stands out for its limestone-rich soils, which lend the wine both depth and finesse while expressing the traditional character of Barolo with remarkable precision.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Barolo shows a deep ruby-red colour, hinting at its concentration and youthful energy. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of ripe red berries, rose petals, tar, and a delicate touch of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, yet refined, with silky tannins supporting the fruit and structure in equal measure. The finish is long and persistent, and while it has the framework for excellent aging, it can also be enjoyed now with proper decanting.

Viininvalmistus
Lazzeirasco is a prized cru in Serralunga d’Alba, where limestone-rich soils help shape a Barolo of structure, elegance, and mineral depth. The wine is fermented in stainless steel to preserve the purity of the fruit, then aged in large, old Slavonian oak casks, allowing the Nebbiolo character to develop without being overshadowed by oak influence.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Barolo pairs beautifully with rich meat dishes, truffle-based pasta, braised veal, and mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if drinking young to help open up its aromas and soften the tannins.
