Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Riesling is bright and fresh, with a poised, pale lemon color that hints at its energy and precision. The nose is immediately captivating, offering smoked Williams pear, fermented white asparagus, dried lime peel, and subtle notes of petroleum, all woven together with impressive clarity. On the palate, the wine is intense and focused, echoing those same aromatic layers with vibrant acidity and a lightly salty mineral edge that adds length and definition. It feels concentrated yet agile, with a depth that suggests it will continue to develop well over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from Westhofen in Rheinhessen, an area known for producing Rieslings with tension, minerality, and ripe fruit character. Gerhard and Michael Gutzler age the wine in large oak foudres, which allow for long lees contact without imparting obvious oak flavor, preserving the wine’s natural fruit expression. The use of these traditional vessels gives the wine texture and complexity while maintaining freshness and precision in the final style.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This dry Riesling is an excellent match for dishes with a touch of richness or umami, such as grilled fish, roast poultry, shellfish, asparagus, sushi, or light Asian cuisine. It also works beautifully with creamy goat cheese and vegetable-based dishes. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short period in the glass will help the aromas open up fully.
