Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep garnet hue that hints at both maturity and structure. The bouquet is layered and refined, opening with red and dark cherries, blackcurrant, clove, and the signature notes of mint and eucalyptus that have long defined Martha’s Vineyard. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and intense, yet carried by a remarkable sense of balance and roundness. The fruit is concentrated and elegant rather than heavy, with a focused finish and a classic Napa profile that still feels fresh. This is a wine with excellent aging potential, capable of continuing to evolve gracefully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Martha’s Vineyard sits in the Oakville AVA, sheltered by the Mayacamas Mountains and marked by gravel-rich soils that are especially well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. The site’s exposure and drainage contribute to the vineyard’s signature balance of power and finesse. The wine is crafted with extended élevage: after fermentation, it spends one year in neutral oak, followed by three years in 100% new French oak before an additional year in bottle.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with roasted beef, lamb, venison, or dishes featuring mushrooms and rich sauces. It also works well alongside aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least one hour to help the wine fully open and show its layered aromatics.

Now under new ownership, Heitz remains deeply associated with classic Napa Cabernet and has earned a lasting reputation for producing wines of clarity, structure, and age-worthy elegance.
