Henri Richard Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Corvees 2016 is a beautifully classic expression of Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most respected villages. Viininvalmistus
The wine comes from Aux Corvees in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of Burgundy, where the terroir is well suited to producing Pinot Noir with both elegance and structure. Domaine Henri Richard farms under organic and biodynamic principles, reflecting a deep respect for the land and a commitment to healthy vines and expressive fruit. Vinification is traditional, with maceration and natural fermentation in open 4,000-liter concrete vats, followed by 12 to 18 months of aging in 228-liter Burgundy barrels. The wine is moved entirely by gravity and is clarified and stabilized naturally without filtration.
Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs wonderfully with roast duck, veal, lamb, mushroom dishes, game birds, or aged cheeses. It is best served slightly cool, around 15-17°C, and may benefit from a gentle decant if opened young to allow the aromas to fully unfold.

Now in its fourth generation under Sarah Bastien-Berthier and Richard Bastien, the domaine is known for its strong commitment to nature, with both organic and biodynamic certification. The estate produces limited quantities, but its wines are highly regarded for their freshness, balance, complexity, and impressive aging potential.
