Jacquesson Cuvée 743 Brut Magnum is a finely crafted, extra-dry Champagne that shows the house’s distinctive focus on precision, purity, and terroir expression. Based on the 2015 vintage and built with a thoughtful blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, it combines freshness with impressive depth, making it a compelling choice for Champagne lovers who appreciate a more vinous, layered style. Makuprofiili
Pale gold in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, this Champagne opens with an elegant, mineral-driven nose of citrus peel, green apple, white flowers, brioche, and subtle toasted almond. Time in the glass brings out more depth, with hints of stone fruit, chalk, and a gentle oxidative nuance from the large-format oak fermentation.
On the palate, it is taut and energetic, with a dry, focused profile and a beautifully layered texture. The Chardonnay lends brightness and precision, while the Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier add structure, breadth, and a touch of ripe fruit. Disgorged without dosage, it finishes brisk, saline, and long, with excellent aging potential for those who enjoy Champagne gaining further complexity over time.
Viininvalmistus
Cuvée 743 is based on wines from the 2015 vintage, with approximately 20% reserve wines added to deepen the blend and enhance complexity. The grapes come primarily from Aÿ, Dizy, and Hautvillers in the Vallée de la Marne, along with Avize and Oiry in the Côte des Blancs, giving the wine a balance of fruit richness and chalky finesse. The base wines are spontaneously fermented in large oak foudres, then aged for 36 months on the lees before being disgorged without dosage.
Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne is an excellent match for oysters, sashimi, scallops, caviar, roast chicken, or delicate seafood dishes with butter or citrus accents. It also works beautifully with aged Comté, Parmesan, or lightly seasoned tempura. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and there is no need to decant; however, a few minutes in the glass will help it раскры its full aromatic range.
