Jermann Blau & Blau 2022

Jermann Blau & Blau 2022 is a distinctive red from Friuli-Venezia Giulia that reflects the estate’s flair for elegance, precision, and a touch of individuality. Crafted by one of northeastern Italy’s most respected producers, it stands out for its modern style, refined structure, and the fresh, expressive character that has made Jermann a benchmark name in the region.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it typically shows a vivid ruby-red color with youthful brightness. The nose is inviting and layered, often offering ripe red berries, dark cherry, floral nuances, and subtle spice, with a gentle earthy undertone that adds depth. On the palate, Blau & Blau is usually smooth and medium-bodied, with supple tannins, fresh acidity, and a balanced, polished finish. It is made for drinking while young and expressive, though it can gain extra complexity over a few years of cellaring if stored well.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This red pairs well with grilled poultry, roast pork, mushroom dishes, cured meats, and semi-hard cheeses. Serve it slightly cool, around 14-16°C, to bring out its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is not essential, but a short aeration can help open the wine if served soon after opening.
