Krug Collection 1990 is an exceptional vintage Champagne that showcases the house’s signature depth, precision, and longevity. Made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier, it comes from a near-perfect growing season in Champagne and reflects both the power of the vintage and Krug’s long-standing mastery of aged sparkling wine.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep golden color with a persistent, refined mousse. The nose is intensely layered, with aromas of dried fruit, honey, caramel, toasted nuts, and spice, all carried by a subtle mineral edge. The palate is rich yet poised, balancing mature fruit character with freshness and elegance. Notes of brioche, vanilla, and tobacco unfold gradually, leading to a very long, lingering finish. This is a Champagne with remarkable aging potential, and even after decades it continues to evolve beautifully in the cellar.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Krug Collection 1990 pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, roast poultry, truffle risotto, or aged hard cheeses. Serve it well-chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider a short decant if you want to open up its more complex aromas, though it can also be enjoyed straight from the bottle.
