Le Mortelle Maremma Toscana Cabernet Botrosecco 2023 is a polished and expressive Tuscan red that captures the sun-soaked character of Maremma while keeping a refined, modern edge. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it offers a fresh, fruit-driven style with the structure and depth you would expect from a wine backed by the Antinori name. The Botrosecco cuvée has become a strong example of how Maremma can deliver Cabernet with both Mediterranean charm and serious quality.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Botrosecco 2023 shows a deep ruby-red color with lively purple reflections. The nose is generous and inviting, opening with blackcurrant, ripe cherry, wild herbs, and subtle hints of spice and cedar. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with juicy dark fruit, fine tannins, and a fresh, lifted finish that gives the wine real drinkability. Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and concentration, while Cabernet Franc adds aromatic brightness and a touch of savory complexity. It has the balance to be enjoyed in its youth, though it should also hold well over the next few years.

Sourced from Le Mortelle’s estate in the Maremma Toscana, the wine reflects a warm Mediterranean terroir shaped by coastal influences, mineral-rich soils, and abundant sunlight. The grapes are carefully harvested to preserve freshness and varietal character, then vinified with attention to extracting ripe fruit and supple tannins while maintaining elegance and balance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet blend pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, roast lamb, herb-crusted pork, and hearty Mediterranean dishes such as pasta with rich meat sauces or roasted vegetables. Serve it at around 16–18°C; decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended if you want to open up the aromatic complexity and soften the tannins.
