This is a finely sculpted Pinot Noir that combines perfume, silken texture, and impressive delicacy, with a style that reflects the elegance and restraint for which Vosne-Roman e9e is so admired.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows the graceful translucence typical of great Pinot Noir, with a refined, luminous appearance. The nose is lifted and complex, unfolding floral and herbal nuances alongside smoked meat, game, and a subtle savory edge. On the palate, the wine is supple and glycerin-rich, with a buoyant, gently expansive feel and a long, soothing finish. Its character is more about finesse than power, with layered perfume, a touch of soy-like savoriness, and a beautifully gentle flow. While already expressive, it has enough structure and balance to remain enjoyable over several more years.

Viininvalmistus
The fruit comes from ancient vines planted in Vosne-Roman e9e, in a site located just below the Liger-Belair chateau, where the soils and exposure contribute to the village’s signature combination of perfume and depth. Harvesting is carried out with strict yield control and meticulous vine management, followed by careful triage in the cellar to select only the best grapes. Vinification is done with a gentle extraction approach, while the domaine also favors a relatively high level of new oak and biodynamic vineyard practices, including horse plowing in some parcels.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with dishes that echo its savory, aromatic profile, such as roast duck, pigeon, game birds, mushroom risotto, or veal with a light wine sauce. Serve at 15-17 b0C and, if possible, decant gently for 30-60 minutes to let the aromas open without losing the wine’s delicate structure.
