Cristal 1999 shows a refined, luminous profile with a fine mousse and an elegant golden hue that reflects its maturity. On the nose, it offers white fruits, citrus zest, and delicate floral notes, layered with a pronounced mineral edge and hints of brioche and toast from extended ageing. The palate is silky and beautifully composed, with ripe fruit, vibrant acidity, and a long, saline finish that gives the wine its unmistakable tension and finesse. Despite its evolution, it retains impressive freshness and structure, and this vintage has the depth and balance to continue ageing gracefully for many years.

Viininvalmistus
Cristal is produced only in exceptional years from carefully selected Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from Louis Roederer’s top vineyard holdings in Champagne. The wine is aged for six years in the cellars, followed by an additional eight months after disgorgement, allowing it to develop remarkable harmony, complexity, and texture.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Best served well chilled at 8-10°C, Cristal pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, caviar, turbot, or roast poultry with delicate sauces. A short decant is generally not necessary, but allowing the wine a few minutes in the glass can help it раскры its full aromatic precision and complexity.
