In the glass, Cristal 2000 shows a luminous golden hue with an energetic, persistent mousse that hints at both freshness and maturity. The bouquet is layered and expressive, opening with ripe citrus, green apple, white flowers, and toasted nuts, before revealing more complex notes of brioche, vanilla, and subtle mineral tones. On the palate, it is remarkably structured and balanced, with Pinot Noir lending depth and presence while Chardonnay brings finesse and lift. Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne is an outstanding match for refined dishes such as lobster, foie gras, langoustines, or delicate poultry preparations with rich sauces. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C to allow its aromatic complexity and texture to fully emerge. Decanting is generally not necessary, but a short aeration in the glass can help open the wine if it has been cellared for many years.
