Louis Roederer Cristal 2014 is one of Champagne’s most coveted prestige cuvées, created only in exceptional vintages and long regarded as a benchmark for refinement and precision. Crafted from a carefully selected blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, it brings together structure, elegance, and remarkable purity in a wine designed for collectors and true Champagne enthusiasts alike.

Cristal 2014 shows a brilliant, luminous golden colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The bouquet is refined and layered, offering ripe orchard fruit, citrus zest, subtle toasted notes, and a distinctive chalky minerality that adds energy and lift. On the palate, it is both powerful and poised, with concentrated fruit, vibrant freshness, and a silky, almost seamless texture. Notes of white peach, lemon, toasted almond, and gentle brioche unfold over a long, precise finish. While already impressive now, it has the structure and depth to age beautifully for more than 25 years, gaining further complexity and nuance over time.

Viininvalmistus
Cristal 2014 is made primarily from Grand Cru vineyards selected from some of Louis Roederer’s finest sites in Champagne, where chalky soils lend the wine its signature tension and mineral drive. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, then vinified with great care to preserve purity, balance, and expression of terroir. After fermentation, the wine spends seven years aging in the cellar, allowing it to develop depth, finesse, and the layered complexity that defines Cristal.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Cristal 2014 is an exceptional aperitif but also pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as oysters, scallops, lobster, caviar, sushi, or delicately prepared poultry and veal. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to fully reveal its precision and aromatic complexity. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a short period in the glass can help the wine open up if enjoyed in its youth.
