Cristal Rosé 2002 shows a luminous pale pink hue with an exceptionally fine, persistent mousse, a testament to its long maturation on the lees. The nose is beautifully layered, with red berries such as strawberry and raspberry joined by floral tones, subtle spice, and delicate toasted notes. On the palate, it is at once precise and generous, combining the richness and structure of Pinot Noir with the freshness and mineral drive of Chardonnay. The texture is creamy and polished, while the finish is long, refined, and laced with hints of brioche, wild berries, and chalky elegance. This vintage has excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve gracefully over many years.

Viininvalmistus
Cristal Rosé 2002 is sourced from some of the finest Grand Cru vineyards in Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, where chalk-rich soils provide the tension, purity, and mineral character that define the wine’s style. The grapes are carefully harvested from top sites, with part of the Pinot Noir vinified as red wine to create the distinctive rosé hue and added depth. After the first fermentation, the wine spends 6 years aging on the lees in Louis Roederer’s cellars, followed by a further 8 months on bottle after disgorgement to achieve harmony and complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne pairs beautifully with lobster, salmon, sashimi, roast poultry, or refined dishes featuring mushrooms, truffle, or delicate red fruits. Serve chilled at around 8-10°C to preserve its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is generally not necessary, though opening the bottle a few minutes before serving can help the wine fully reveal its complexity.
