Lucien le Moine works with top-tier vineyards across Burgundy, selecting only premier and grand cru parcels and vinifying them in its own Beaune cellar. The approach is hands-on and highly restrained in quantity, with the wines aged on their lees and bottled unfined and unfiltered. For this wine, the emphasis is on preserving the character of Chambertin Clos de Bèze’s exceptional terroir while allowing the fruit and site to speak through careful élevage in new French oak.

This is an ideal wine for refined dishes with depth and savoriness, such as roast duck, pigeon, beef tenderloin, truffle risotto, or mushroom-based cuisine. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromatics and texture to open fully.
