Lucien le Moine Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2010 is a deeply impressive Burgundy, combining Grand Cru precision with remarkable power and refinement. Made from Pinot Noir in one of the Côte de Nuits’ most celebrated vineyards, it reflects both the grandeur of Clos de Bèze and Lucien le Moine’s uncompromising approach to selection and élevage. This is a wine with serious pedigree, historic prestige, and a long life ahead of it.

In the glass, this 2010 Clos de Bèze shows the depth and concentration expected from a great Grand Cru Burgundy. The bouquet is intensely layered, opening with black cherry, blackberry and cassis, followed by violet, licorice and subtle savory notes of menthol, spice and white pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied, statuesque and texturally rich, with substantial tannins wrapped in generous fruit. The balance of power and freshness gives the wine excellent definition, while the long, persistent finish suggests outstanding aging potential. Robert Parker noted its virtually limitless future, with a maturity window that can stretch for decades.

Viininvalmistus
Clos de Bèze sits on some of the finest terroir in Burgundy, producing wines of depth, structure and unmistakable authority. Lucien le Moine sources top-tier Grand Cru fruit and vinifies with a minimalist philosophy in Beaune, focusing on purity, site expression and controlled élevage. The wines are aged on their lees in new Burgundian oak barrels, then bottled by hand without filtration, a method designed to preserve texture, complexity and the character of the vineyard.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a wine for refined, flavourful dishes such as roast duck, pigeon, beef fillet, game birds, or mushroom-based preparations with truffle accents. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young, to allow the wine’s aromatics and structure to fully unfold.

Its wines are now widely recognized for their individuality and craftsmanship, making Lucien le Moine a standout name in Burgundy.
