Bright ruby-red in the glass, this wine opens with a notably distinctive bouquet of purple fruits, spice, and a more savory, lees-driven complexity, with hints of apricot and almond adding intrigue. It is layered, spicy, and finely grained, with dark berry fruit joined by rosemary, subtle lactic notes, and a gentle malic freshness. On the palate, it feels deep and suave, with a texture that is almost glossy and an aftertaste that lingers with quiet intensity. The 2015 vintage has the concentration to age beautifully, and while it can already be appreciated for its aromatic complexity, it should gain even more nuance and harmony with time in bottle.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from Grands Échezeaux, a Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy known for producing Pinot Noir with both structure and aromatic complexity. Lucien Le Moine works with a highly selective approach, sourcing top-tier fruit and vinifying it in Beaune with a focus on preserving terroir expression. The wines are aged on the lees, undergo a late malolactic fermentation, and are bottled by hand without filtration, all of which contribute to their richness, texture, and individuality.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Grand Cru pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as duck breast, roast quail, venison, wild mushroom risotto, or slow-cooked lamb. Serve at around 16–18°C, and if possible, decant gently for about 30 minutes to an hour to allow the aromatics to unfold.
