In the glass, this Grand Cru is likely to show a deep ruby core with youthful concentration. The nose is richly layered, with black cherry, violets, licorice, spice, and earthy undertones, all carried by the vivid, muscular character Robert Parker described as explosive and sensual. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and tightly wound, with impressive fruit density balanced by Bourgogne’s signature finesse and structure. The wines are aged on their lees and bottled without filtration, helping preserve texture, terroir expression, and aromatic complexity.
