Lucien Le Moine follows a distinctive, hands-on approach: fruit is sourced from carefully selected top parcels, then brought to the producer’s cellar in Beaune for élevage. The wines are matured on their lees in new Burgundian oak barrels, bottled by hand without filtration, and handled with minimal intervention to preserve the character of the terroir.

This wine is a natural match for elegant dishes such as duck breast, roast pigeon, veal with mushrooms, truffled pasta, or game birds. It also works beautifully with earthy vegetarian dishes featuring porcini, lentils, or root vegetables. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant gently for about 30–60 minutes if opening now, especially to allow the wine’s aromatic complexity to fully emerge.
