Marc Hébrart Clos Le Léon Dizy 2015 is a flagship Champagne from one of the domaine’s finest parcels, showcasing the precision and depth that have made Marc Hébrart such a respected name in the region. Made entirely from Chardonnay grown on carefully selected plots in Dizy, it reflects both the character of its exceptional terroir and the patience of traditional cellar ageing. The wine comes presented in its original wooden case of six bottles, underlining its status as a special cuvée built for serious Champagne lovers.

In the glass, this Champagne is expected to show a refined, luminous golden tone with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose should open with layered Chardonnay aromas of citrus, white flowers, orchard fruit, toasted brioche, and subtle mineral notes, gaining complexity with air. On the palate, it is likely to be precise and structured, combining ripe fruit, chalky freshness, and a silky texture with depth from oak vinification and extended lees ageing. The absence of malolactic fermentation should preserve tension and brightness, while the long maturation gives the wine real complexity and a long, elegant finish. This is a Champagne with excellent ageing potential and may continue to develop beautifully over many years.

Clos Le Léon Dizy comes from selected Chardonnay parcels in Dizy, an area known for delivering expressive fruit and distinctive terroir-driven Champagne. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the wine is vinified in barrels without malolactic fermentation, a choice that helps retain freshness, structure, and purity of expression. It then spends 7 months on its lees before undergoing a further 6 years of ageing prior to disgorgement and release, resulting in a wine of notable depth and finesse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, oysters, caviar, roast poultry, or creamy risottos, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to allow its aromatic detail and texture to shine. Decanting is generally not necessary, but a short period in the glass can help open up its more complex layers.
