Martinelli Chardonnay Bella Vigna is a beautifully crafted California Chardonnay that captures both the generosity of the fruit and the precision of careful winemaking. Sourced from a selection of Martinelli’s coastal vineyards and handled with a light touch, it offers a rich, expressive style shaped by native yeast fermentation and élevage in oak. The result is a wine that feels authentic to its origins, while reflecting the family’s long-standing commitment to quality and terroir.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a golden hue that hints at its depth and ripeness. The nose opens with inviting aromas of citrus, pear, peach, caramel, and butter, giving way to a layered and polished bouquet. On the palate, yellow apple, lemon custard, and melon come forward alongside citrus, oak, and a subtle stony character, all carried through to a long, balanced finish. The wine has a generous, textured feel without losing freshness, making it both opulent and composed. While already highly expressive, it should also hold well for a few years, developing more complexity and nuance with time in bottle.

Viininvalmistus
Bella Vigna is made from Chardonnay grown across a selection of Martinelli’s coastal vineyards in California, where the family works with a strong respect for nature and minimal intervention in the vineyard. Harvesting is done with care to preserve fruit character and balance, and winemaker Courtney Wagoner uses only natural yeast for fermentation. The wine is then matured for 10 months in oak barrels, with no fining or filtration, allowing the vineyard character and texture to remain front and center.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roast chicken, grilled lobster, seared scallops, creamy pasta dishes, and rich poultry preparations. It also works well with buttery fish, mushroom dishes, and soft-ripened cheeses. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and there is no need to decant unless you want to let it open up in the glass for a short while.
