Olek Bondonio Barbaresco Roncagliette 2022 is a refined Nebbiolo from one of Piedmont’s most celebrated appellations. Sourced from the Roncagliette vineyard, this wine reflects the precision and elegance that make Barbaresco so prized, combining lifted fruit, structure, and a distinctly regional sense of place. As a young Barbaresco, it offers an engaging look at a classic style built on finesse rather than power.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it typically shows a translucent ruby garnet colour, characteristic of Nebbiolo. The nose is expected to be expressive and layered, with notes of red cherry, rose petal, wild herbs, and subtle spice, followed by hints of earth, tobacco, and dried violet as it opens. On the palate, Barbaresco from Roncagliette often delivers a beautifully linear structure, bright acidity, and firm but polished tannins. The fruit profile tends toward sour cherry, cranberry, and red currant, balanced by savoury mineral tones and a long, persistent finish. While approachable with decanting in its youth, this wine has the potential to develop gracefully over several years, gaining complexity and softness with age.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Barbaresco pairs wonderfully with rich, flavourful dishes such as truffle risotto, porcini pasta, braised veal, roast duck, and aged hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino. Serve it at 16–18°C to allow the aromatics and structure to show at their best. A short decant is recommended if drinking young, helping to soften the tannins and open the bouquet.
