Sourced from the steep slopes of Wallhausen and shaped by the red slate soils of Felseneck, this wine carries both tension and elegance, with a style that has already begun to open into a more complex, mature expression.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a restrained, golden hue that hints at its development. Aromas unfold with mature citrus, baked quince, chamomile, and delicate notes of beeswax and smoke, all layered over a distinctly mineral backdrop. The palate is rounder and more nuanced than in its youth, yet it still has a vibrant spine of acidity and a salty, slate-driven finish that keeps everything focused. The balance of ripeness and freshness gives it impressive depth, and it should continue to evolve gracefully over the next decade, gaining even more secondary complexity.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from steep vineyards in Wallhausen, where the red slate terroir of Felseneck lends the wine its mineral intensity and structural precision. The 2015 vintage benefited from ideal growing conditions, allowing for ripe fruit and naturally fresh acidity. Fermentation takes place spontaneously, followed by extended maturation on fine lees in stainless steel, a process that preserves purity, texture, and site expression.
