Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Butteaux 2015 is a benchmark expression of premier cru Chablis, combining precision, depth, and remarkable finesse. Produced by the highly regarded Domaine Raveneau, it stands out for its tension between ripe Chardonnay fruit, chalk-driven minerality, and the kind of structure that has made this domaine one of Burgundy’s most sought-after names.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a poised, luminous pale gold color that hints at both youth and graceful evolution. The nose opens with citrus peel, white flowers, and subtle mineral notes, joined by a refined, lightly toasted complexity as it breathes. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and focused, with a generous core of fruit balanced by brisk acidity and a long, precise, mineral finish. It has already developed beautifully, showing excellent harmony between fruit and structure, and while it is in a very fine drinking window now, it still has the potential to evolve positively over the coming years.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a superb match for oysters, scallops, lobster, sashimi, and delicately prepared white fish, as well as roast chicken or creamy poultry dishes. Serve chilled at around 10-12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can help if the bottle is particularly closed on opening.
