Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is a bright, expressive California white that brings together the freshness of Sonoma County with the depth and polish of Napa Valley. Crafted from fruit sourced mainly from Wildwood Vineyard in Sonoma and Juliana Vineyard in Napa, it offers a broader, more textured style than many Sauvignon Blancs while staying unmistakably fresh and vibrant.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Sauvignon Blanc shows a lively, pale straw hue that hints at its freshness. The nose opens with lifted aromas of lime, honeydew melon, passion fruit, and just-cut grass, creating a classic yet generous aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is crisp and rounded, with lime and honeydew leading the way before kiwi and subtle herbal notes add complexity. Most of the wine is kept in stainless steel to preserve its bright fruit character, while a small portion aged in small oak barrels brings a gentle touch of richness and texture. It is designed to be enjoyed while young and fresh, though its balance and structure give it enough presence to hold for a short period.

Viininvalmistus
The fruit for this wine comes from two distinct California sites: Wildwood Vineyard in Sonoma County and Juliana Vineyard in Napa Valley, combining the lifted freshness of Sonoma with the slightly riper, more structured character of Napa. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed, then 87% of the wine is matured in stainless steel for purity and freshness, while the remaining portion is aged in small oak barrels to add a touch of softness and weight.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with goat cheese, oysters, shrimp, grilled white fish, asparagus, and salads with citrus vinaigrette or fresh herbs. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
