In the glass, The Flight 2018 shows impressive depth and concentration, with a dark, opaque core that hints at its richness. The nose opens with blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark plum, followed by notes of black pepper, leather, toasted oak, and subtle graphite. On the palate, it is full-bodied and refined, with ripe dark fruit framed by finely knit tannins and a bright, balanced acidity that keeps everything in harmony. Layers of black cherry, dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, and mineral nuance unfold through the finish, which is long, precise, and persistent. While approachable now with proper decanting, it has the structure and balance to evolve gracefully over time.

Produced from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon fruit sourced from Screaming Eagle’s most prized vineyard parcels in Napa Valley, this wine is crafted to express the estate’s exceptional terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested and handled with meticulous care, ensuring only the finest fruit makes it into the final blend. Fermentation is closely monitored, followed by aging in French oak barrels to build depth, texture, and complexity while preserving the wine’s natural elegance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with premium cuts of beef, roast lamb, venison, and truffle-infused dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C for the best expression of its aromatics and structure. Decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if opening young, especially to allow the wine’s layers and fine tannins to fully раскрыvelop.
