Son Prim Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a bold yet polished red from Mallorca, showing just how well Cabernet Sauvignon can thrive on the island’s best soils. Made by Jaime Llabrés and family since 2006, it offers impressive depth, structure, and elegance — and it stands out as a real value for the quality.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this is a deep, intense red with a concentrated look that hints at its richness. The nose opens with red berries, red pepper, olives, cocoa, and mocha, giving it a distinctive Mediterranean-meets-classic-Cabernet character. On the palate, it is full-bodied and expressive, repeating those aromatic notes with added freshness and balance. Despite its intensity, it avoids any jammy sweetness and keeps a refined, dry edge. It can be enjoyed now, but it also has the structure to age gracefully for at least another 10 years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from vines rooted in some of Mallorca’s best soils, which help give the wine its concentration and character. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to preserve purity of fruit, followed by 12 months of maturation in oak barrels, using only American oak, which adds spice, depth, and texture to the finished wine.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, hearty stews, aged cheeses, and dishes with Mediterranean herbs or olives. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting it for 30–60 minutes if drinking young to allow the wine to खुल fully.
