Tan Fruit White Walnut Vineyard Chardonnay 2021 is a refined expression of Oregon Chardonnay, sourced from the highly regarded White Walnut Vineyard in Willamette Valley. In the glass, this Chardonnay shows a bright, inviting character with a poised and elegant profile. The nose opens with ripe citrus, green apple, and pear, lifted by delicate floral notes that add freshness and charm. On the palate, layers of peach and apricot bring generous fruit depth, supported by crisp acidity and a gentle mineral edge. A measured touch of French oak adds nuance with hints of vanilla, butter, and toasted nuts, giving the wine a creamy texture and a long, graceful finish. It has the balance and structure to develop nicely over the coming years, though it is already very appealing in its youth.

Viininvalmistus
The White Walnut Vineyard in Willamette Valley benefits from a cool-climate microclimate and varied soils that are especially well suited to Chardonnay. Warm daytime temperatures and cooler nights help preserve freshness while allowing the grapes to reach full aromatic ripeness, and the vineyard’s sustainable farming practices support fruit of excellent quality. The grapes are hand-harvested from select parcels, then vinified with precision, including cool fermentation to protect the delicate fruit character. After fermentation, the wine is matured in French oak barrels to build depth and complexity without overwhelming the purity of the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with shellfish, grilled fish, roast chicken, and creamy pasta dishes. Serve it chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a brief airing can help if you want the oak and fruit layers to open up further in the glass.
