Tramin Sauvignon 2024

Cantina Tramin’s Sauvignon 2024 is a fresh, expressive white wine from Alto Adige that shows exactly why Sauvignon Blanc has become such a beloved international grape. Elegant yet vibrant, it combines aromatic intensity with a clean, lively finish, offering a distinctive Alpine interpretation of this classic French variety.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a pale greenish-yellow hue that hints at its freshness and brightness. The nose is intensely floral and aromatic, with notes of elderflower and nettle leading into more classic Sauvignon accents of gooseberry and green bell pepper. On the palate, the wine is crisp, lively, and surprisingly flavourful, with a refreshing balance between aromatic lift and mineral precision. Its youthful style is best enjoyed while the wine is fresh, though it can develop a little more complexity over the next 1–2 years.

Viininvalmistus
This Sauvignon comes from the Trentino-Alto Adige region in northern Italy, where cool Alpine conditions help preserve acidity and aromatic purity. The grapes are typically harvested at optimal ripeness to maintain freshness and expressive varietal character, then vinified with a focus on cool fermentation and careful handling to protect the wine’s delicate floral and green-fruit aromas.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
A natural match for goat cheese, asparagus, fresh salads, seafood, and light vegetable dishes, this wine also works beautifully with sushi or simple white fish preparations. Serve chilled at 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary; in fact, it is best enjoyed straight from the bottle while its vibrant aromatics are at their most expressive.
