Tuli Pinot Noir 2023 is a vibrant, coastal California expression of Pinot Noir, crafted by the highly respected Joe Wagner. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards near Sonoma’s best seaside-influenced areas, it brings together fruit from different sites to create a wine with both brightness and depth. The result is a modern, layered Pinot Noir that reflects Wagner’s instinct for balance, complexity, and premium coastal fruit.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Tuli Pinot Noir shows a luminous ruby hue typical of a well-made Pinot Noir. The nose is immediately appealing, with aromas of cranberry, red apple, cinnamon, and vanilla, lifted by a subtle spice and coastal freshness. The palate is supple and expressive, opening with lightly sweet cherry and raspberry tones before moving into darker notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, pepper, and a whisper of smoke. French oak aging adds polish and a gentle frame rather than dominating the fruit. This is a wine that can be enjoyed now for its freshness and charm, but it also has the structure to hold well over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
This Pinot Noir is built from grapes selected across a range of coastal Sonoma vineyards, where the cooler maritime influence helps preserve acidity and aromatic precision. Joe Wagner chooses fruit from different sites specifically for their contrasting characteristics, aiming to combine lighter red-fruit tones with darker, more textured elements. After pressing, the wine spends 8–9 months in French oak barrels, adding nuance, spice, and a rounded mouthfeel while keeping the focus on purity of fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Tuli Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roasted duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken, and dishes with earthy or lightly smoky flavors. It also works well with soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 14–16°C, and decanting is optional but can help open up the wine if enjoyed young.
