Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows the translucent ruby tone typical of the variety, with an inviting, polished appearance. The nose is layered and expressive, opening with ripe red cherry, strawberry, and cranberry, then unfolding into orange peel, mushroom, earth, and a subtle smoky edge. On the palate, those red berry notes return with extra lift from citrus peel and earthy complexity, while white pepper adds a distinctive Oregon signature. It has a lively, supple structure and enough concentration to reward a few years in bottle, though it can also be enjoyed now with a little air.

For the 2022 vintage, winemaker Ken Pahlow blended fruit from several Eola-Amity Hills sites, a region known for its volcanic soils, cool breezes, and ideal conditions for expressive Pinot Noir. This Pinot Noir is a natural match for roasted duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, herb-crusted chicken, or seared mushrooms and earthy vegetable dishes. Serve it slightly cool, around 14–16°C, and give it some time in a glass or decanter if opening it young so the aromatics can fully open up.
