Coyam Colchagua Valley Chile 2020

Coyam 2020 is one of Emiliana’s signature Chilean reds, a bold and beautifully layered blend from the Colchagua Valley that brings together Syrah, Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon and other classic Mediterranean varieties. Known for its balance of ripe fruit, depth and finesse, it has become a benchmark wine for organic and biodynamic winemaking in Chile.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Coyam 2020 shows a deep ruby-red color with plenty of concentration and vibrancy. The nose opens with dark berries, plum and black cherry, followed by notes of violet, dried herbs, spice, cacao and a subtle earthy edge. On the palate it is full-bodied and expressive, with ripe black fruit, supple tannins and lively freshness carrying the wine through to a long, polished finish. Layers of spice, graphite and savory complexity give it real character, while its structure suggests it will continue to develop gracefully over the next several years.

Viininvalmistus
Coyam comes from Emiliana’s organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, an area known for its warm days, cooling coastal influences and excellent conditions for fully ripened yet balanced red wines. The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity and vinified with care to preserve purity of fruit and varietal expression, with blending playing a key role in building complexity and harmony.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for grilled lamb, roasted beef, game, mushroom dishes and rich Mediterranean cuisine. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended, especially if enjoyed young, to allow the wine to खुलen fully and show its aromatic depth.
