Sourced from old vines in Schweigen and crafted with the same care you would expect from a far more expensive bottle, it delivers a distinctly elegant, cool-climate style that often draws comparisons to fine Burgundy.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Spätburgunder shows a bright, youthful ruby colour. The nose is lifted and expressive, with aromas of rhubarb, redcurrant, cherry, raspberry, and a subtle chalky, stony note that adds real definition. The palate is fresh and finely tuned, with a cool, elegant feel and a lively mineral backbone. Red berry fruit repeats on the palate, supported by crisp acidity, delicate structure, and a smooth, precise finish. While enjoyable now for its energy and charm, it also has the balance to develop further over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from vines up to 40 years old growing in the limestone-rich soils around Schweigen in the Pfalz, a terroir that lends both tension and minerality to the wine. Harvesting and sorting are done by hand before pressing and fermentation, and the wine is then matured in a mix of small and large French oak casks. It is bottled without filtration to preserve purity and texture.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast chicken, duck, veal, mushroom dishes, charcuterie, and lighter game. Serve slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, to highlight its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is not essential, but a short aeration can help the wine open up if served young.
