Astrales Christina is a single-vineyard Ribera del Duero that showcases the power and finesse Tempranillo can deliver at its very best. Sourced from 100-year-old vines, it combines impressive depth, sweet tannins, and a long, persistent finish with the kind of balance that makes a big wine feel effortlessly elegant. This is a serious, age-worthy wine with a historic old-vine character and plenty of immediate appeal when decanted.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Astrales Christina shows a deep, dark color that hints at its intensity and concentration. The nose is powerful and expressive, led by ripe dark fruit, with layers of liquorice, spice, and subtle oak influence adding complexity and lift. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, yet beautifully balanced, with velvety tannins and a smooth, rounded texture. Dark berry and black fruit flavors are wrapped in spice and a touch of savoury depth, leading into a long, elegant finish. It has excellent cellaring potential and should continue to evolve positively over the coming years.

Viininvalmistus
This single-vineyard cuvée comes from old Tempranillo vines, around 100 years of age, grown in Ribera del Duero in Castilla y León, where the region’s high-altitude climate and stark continental conditions help produce wines with concentration, freshness, and structure. The wine is made entirely from Tempranillo, with careful harvesting and vinification aimed at preserving the depth and balance of this exceptional old-vine fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Best served with rich dishes such as grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised beef, venison, or mature hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decanting is recommended now to allow the wine to open fully and soften its structure.
